Which version of Office 365 is required?
The Cloud based Valo Intranet implementations require an active SharePoint Online licence, an Office 365 subscription. Every active user who accesses SharePoint Online must be assigned to an Office 365 licence. The recommended plans are E1-E5, K1.
Other standalone service plans that can also be used are SharePoint Online Plan 1 or SharePoint Online Plan 2. It is important to note that in addition to SharePoint Online, to experience the full Valo Intranet, you would also require Office 365 Video, Delve, and Yammer.
Does Valo Intranet work as an On-Premise solution?
Yes Valo Intranet is 100% compatible with SharePoint Server versions 2013 and 2016. Features like Yammer integration and Office 365 Videos do however need an Office 365 licence.
How long does it take to get the intranet up and running?
Once the licences are purchased, the intranet solution could be up and running as quick as one week. This of course depends on your requirements, customizations, testing etc. which could extend the deliver time. To put it on the safe side, let’s say we can get your intranet up and running in 2 weeks.
Is Valo Intranet available in my language?
Currently Valo Intranet is available in the following languages and the list is till growing. If you don’t find your language here, please contact us. The 26 languages that Valo intranet currently supports are Basque, Bulgarian, Catalan, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, German, Greek, Italian, Japanese, Norwegian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Serbian (Latin), Slovak, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish and Vietnamese.
Is Valo Intranet customizable?
Yes. Valo Intranet is built on the SharePoint platform and works just like any other solution built on this platform. After initial deployment you can add webparts and do additional customizations as you wish. Additional Valo features can also be added on at a later stage.
How is Valo Intranet maintained?
Every 3 months the Valo team publishes new releases. The Valo Fresh subscription gives you access to these Valo releases during the period of the subscription.
Does Valo intranet have a mobile App?
Yes. A mobile app is part of the Valo Fresh subscription which entitles the client to the usage thereof.
Is the Valo Intranet mobile responsive?
Yes. The Valo intranet is 100% responsive to all mobile devices.so you can easily use Valo intranet on your mobile phone or tablet. As mentioned previously, the Mobile App for Android and iOS can also be downloaded.
Is there a roadmap for the product?
Yes. Valo constantly introduces new features. An roadmap is shared with all customers in “What’s new Valo Intranet” – webinars each month.
